Dispute Resolution

Ingrams Solicitors have a highly experienced team of lawyers in their Dispute Resolution department.

We act for individuals, companies, partnerships, LLPs and public organisations. Some of our clients have a very sophisticated approach to disputes whilst others have not been involved in any form of business dispute before.

The lawyers in Ingrams Solicitors Dispute Resolution team provide clear, concise and practical advice throughout the whole process.

We understand and appreciate that one of the paramount concerns to clients involved in litigation or dispute resolution is the level of cost involved. Ingrams Solicitors can tailor our advice and our service to the size and complexity of the problem. We will do all that we can to try to ease the burden of the dispute and solve the problem as quickly as ever possible. We will at all stages provide cost estimates for the work required to ensure full transparency thereby providing greater certainty to our clients as to costs and cash flow. We can accommodate different forms of funding arrangements and in suitable cases we offer no win, no fee agreements.

We recognise that Court proceedings are not necessarily the way forward and will always explore alternative avenues for resolution of the dispute with our clients such as mediation in order to achieve the most commercial and cost effective outcome.

Common areas of work we deal with are:

  • Commercial and corporate disputes including claims against directors and shareholders
  • Construction disputes
  • Contractual disputes
  • Debt recovery
  • Enforcement and insolvency
  • Nuisance and harassment
  • Partnership disputes
  • Personal injury including road traffic accidents, slips and trips, Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority claims, stress in the workplace and industrial diseases
  • Probate disputes and disputes relating to Wills and inheritance
  • Professional negligence, including clinical negligence
  • Property disputes, including landlord and tenant
  • Trust disputes
  • Unlawful imprisonment claims

As we deal with such a wide variety of dispute it would be impractical to list everything; if in doubt simply contact us by email or telephone and we will inform you as to whether or not we can help.
