To complement our Personal Injury Department we also have a Specialist Industrial Disease team. This is a growing area particularly in view of the anticipated increase in asbestosis claims. We are well placed to handle this increase
having considerable experience in handling claims for:
- Asbestosis
- Mesothelioma
- Respiratory disease (breathing difficulties)/asthma/COPD
- Vibration white finger (VWF)/hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS)
- Industrial deafness/noise induced hearing loss (NIHL)
- Skin diseases
These diseases are often the result of workers being exposed to unsafe materials or working practices over some years but claimants may not immediately make the connection between their work and their illness. Our team will be happy to
advise anyone who thinks that their occupation may have caused their health problems.
