Echoes stands for Every Child Has Opportunity Equality and Support. The foundation which aims to help children with disabilities held its official launch at the Country Park Inn, Hessle. Set up by Claire Stockton Echoes.
The Echoes Foundation was set up by Claire Stockton, whose son Finley, two, suffers from an undiagnosed brain disorder. Since having Finley, Claire has dreamed of setting up a centre which could supports similar families in this region. That dream is now becoming a reality with the establishment of a base at Gipsyville Multi Purpose Centre, Hessle Road. The centre will house under one roof all the services for children with special and additional needs. Initially Claire has set up a support service and is now offering help and advice to more than 30 families. Hull City’s Dean Windass said he was delighted to be asked to be a patron of the foundation.
